Good News for the Children of Idaho and Their Healthcare

In Boise, Idaho, it is reported that the state now offers two plans for children in need of health insurance under the states coverage which is known as CHIP.

The two new plans offered by the state are the ACCESS CARD and the CHP B.

Access Card: An assistant program for families who would rather receive coverage through a private insurance company or employer.

Chp B: Plan designed for children who currently do not qualify for the states Medicaid program or the states traditional CHIP plan. $15 each month per child.

The plan is now open enrollment and the state expects to have a good response for the both of these new plans designed to help children and their families of low income households.

The open enrollment for these two new plans are from July 7-16, or wait till new open enrollment begins. You can call the state to find out enrollment dates.
